Immortal Tree: Health with OLIVE and Polyphenol

The olive tree is one of the longest living trees. In general, it has a lifespan of 300-400 years. The oldest olive tree in the world is estimated to be 3 thousand years old and this tree is located on the island of Crete. The olive tree owes these characteristics to the antioxidants that have cell regenerative properties. These are called POLYPHENOL.

Polyphenols, as antioxidants, have the ability to neutralize free radicals formed in the human body for various reasons. There is evidence that polyphenols delay cell aging, prevent cancer formation and tumor growth. Polyphenols produced by olives also ensure the survival of the olive tree for many years.

Polyphenol is found in many foods, but our body can use some of these ingredients. The beneficial compounds in olive oil with polyphenols, drunk in the mornings on an empty stomach, can be absorbed by the body and used in large quantities. Thus, it is very beneficial to start the day by drinking 20 ml of olive oil on an empty stomach in the morning, both to balance the appetite, to protect the digestive system and to take in our body the cell-protective antioxidants.
